Information You Send
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider that produces the result. Our servers do not keep a separate copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to include and use them to answer the message.
Automatic Technical Data
Like most hosted services, the site may receive routine server-log data such as an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of request. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How Data Is Used
Technical information is used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service, and to understand traffic in aggregate. We do not sell a visitor list or create profiles of individual visitors from the directory pages.
External Links and Searches
County, borough, state, library, archive, and sponsored-search links lead to services with their own privacy rules. Their policies govern information submitted after leaving this service. Review the custodian’s policy before filing a record request or using an outside search tool.
Service Providers
Hosting, security, analytics, and advertising providers may process the limited automatic information needed for their functions. Information may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it.
Data Safeguards
We use ordinary technical and organizational measures appropriate to a simple reference service. No site can promise perfect security. There are no user accounts here, so the service does not maintain account passwords or personal profiles for visitors.
Visitors Under 18
Plum Residents Directory is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a visitor under 18. If you believe a minor has sent information to us, contact us so it can be reviewed and removed where applicable.
Privacy Choices
You may ask about personal information submitted in a message by using the Contact page. Pennsylvania research did not identify a broad state consumer data-broker deletion statute that governs this private reference. Public records held by a borough, county, court, or state custodian are outside our control. Requests to correct an official record must go to that custodian, subject to laws such as Pennsylvania’s Right-to-Know Law, Act 3 of 2008, 65 P.S. §§ 67.101–67.3104.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the revised wording will appear here. Continued use after publication of a revision means the updated policy applies.
